There are social and religious groups that offer weekly meetings for psychological and spiritual guidance and counseling. Check the university's list of registered organizations because there is likely to be at least one at each school. Church groups and even social service department may also have these options. These services give people a venue to share their thoughts and emotions without fear of being judged.

A number of options are offered to freshmen to help them adapt to the life in the university. They should expect their newfound independence will encounter issues as they go along. Courses such as these help in making them emotionally, socially and spiritually strong.
