In all honesty, anything that has to do with politics bores us to death. It just does not interest us in any way. Maybe we do not share the same opinions as the rest of the people in America, but seriously, who cares? Who cares if some over eager idiot is the one seated in an office? Whether they are competent in what they do or not, it hardly matters to some people. That including us. That being said, we still have to talk about the 23rd Congressional District Texas Elections.
So someone won and is now in their office. Why should we care? Elections happen all the freaking time so why does this have to be any different? You can bet your ass that the person who won has some sort of hand dug deep in the underworld for help. So let us get into a topic about mafia instead. Particularly the mafia related anime Reborn.
Speaking of mafia, the anime Reborn deals with it in avery flashy yet childish ways possible. Not only do their weapons suddenly involve fire and flames with the colors of the rainbow, they allow children no older than fifteen to battle in these fights of the adults. That may carry a little bit of truth in our world, but certainly not in that same fashion.
The show starts when the main protagonist was thirteen years old. Barely a teen then. His name is Tsunayoshi Sawada and he is supposed to be the only heir left to the biggest Mafia family in the whole world. The thing is, he has no idea about his connections. He was not even aware he has Italian blood until his home tutor told him about it.
Takeshi is a happy go lucky baseball player who wield the blue rain flames. His attribute lets everyone know that his calm helps wash away the pain of his family and friends. He gets seen as often laughing and is generally just a friendly kid altogether. He smiles a lot and is often a bit of an idiot, which Hayato is not afraid to call him out for.
The fight scenes. Mother of potatoes, the fight scenes. Production for this anime must have costed a lot, huh? Because every single one is just downright beautiful. The camera angling, the different and unique fighting styles and the addition to the different types of alchemy to use and the powers of the villains?
Mukuro and Chrome are the mist guardians who wield indigo mist fire. Chrome is a sweetheart but her male counterpart Mukuro is a different matter. He once was a villain with his intentions for being with Tsuna is not exactly noble. As an illusionist, Mukuro is cunning, malicious but surprisingly reliable. He and Kyoya actually hate each other since they are opposites and once stood as rivals when Mukuro tried to kill him.
Better fit to be named Dogs of the Military. Try not to hate us when we say it fit so much of our government. For all we know, the president might not even be calling the shots at all. Those guys are probably just looking for a face to parade around to us clueless mortals, just so we would think he calls the shots.
It got us thinking. If the Vongola is supposedly the biggest family with influence and connections at every turn, do they also have their hands shoved in some of the countrys governments? From what the show tells us, they hardly cared.
